TEA FOR THREE: LADY BIRD, PAT AND BETTY

Riding high after its rave review from the New York TimesTEA FOR THREE will be at CTC for a special one-night only engagement!

Do you remember this hit from our 2004 season? TEA FOR THREE stars Elaine Bromka in this widely praised portrayal of three First Ladies – Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, and Betty Ford. Jeffrey Borak of The Berkshire Eagle reviewing the CTC production in 2004 wrote “Elaine Bromka’s portrait of Pat Nixon is expertly crafted, wrenching, sad, and haunting.” The Republican greeted the CTC transfer to City Stage in Springfield with: “This play is polished, effective, precise, amusing and touching.

An exciting new adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s classic romance. Written and Directed by Daniel Elihu Kramer, author of CTC’s smash hit production Pride@Prejudice. Featuring CTC favorites Allison McLemore (The Nibroc Trilogy, Turn of the Screw), James Barry (Arms on Fire, Wittenberg), and Kim Stauffer (Crime and Punishment).

Immediately after Jane Eyre, join us for our 3rd annual Drama for Dinner – hosted this year in Chester by Wyld Thyme Restaurant and Catering! Tables will be hosted by the cast of Jane Eyre, as well as other CTC luminaries. The evening will begin with an artist reception followed by a multi-course dinner, complete with wine and beer.
