Synopsis
Bridget’s fraught marriage to Nigel, a cramped NYC apartment, and her stagnant career convince her to search for a country escape in the post 9/11 real estate gold rush in the Catskills. Armed with a limited budget and plenty of nervous enthusiasm, she enlists the aid of Mr. Sunshine to help her realize her dream. A comedy.
Cast
CTC welcomes Catherine Lloyd Burns, Ken Cheeseman, and Greg Stuhr in their CTC debuts. Catherine Lloyd Burns (Paper Mill Playhouse, Naked Angels Theater Company, TV: Malcolm in the Middle) is Bridget, with Ken Cheeseman (Shakespeare and Company, La MaMa, Classic Stage Company) as Nigel. Greg Stuhr is Mr.Sunshine/The Dentist. Known for his work on Broadway (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, November, Fish in the Dark), he most recently performed in the Dorset Theater Festival.
