A New Talkback

Dear friends,
While the last two years have been challenging, there are some positive things that have emerged. One of those has been the ability to gather virtually in our “off season” for a series of talkbacks. We are thrilled to see your faces and experience our community in a way that we could not have imagined prior to 2020. So for that, we are grateful!
Our next talkback will celebrate the legacy of Sidney Poitier with a discussion of his performance in Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun. Poitier starred in the Broadway production and then reprised his role on film, which put a national spotlight on his remarkable talent and presence.
We are offering two talkbacks, February 7 at 2pm and February 8 at 6pm. The discussion will be led by Producing Artistic Director Daniel Elihu Kramer and CTC board member and Smith College professor of psychology Nnamdi Pole.
There are a number of ways to view the film. (Please note that as of this mailing that there are no free options for viewing, but there are a number of ways to rent it for a small fee.) To see the options and link to your preferred platform, please click here.
To register for the talkback, please click here to be connected to our form. Deadline to register is January 28.
We will send you a Zoom link no later than 24 hours before the event.
We can’t wait to see you!
