This is the privacy policy of the Chester Theatre Company (“CTC”).

The Information We Collect and How We Use It. We collect information on our website in order to make it possible for you to access all the features and to enhance your overall experience on our website. You can browse our website without submitting any personally identifiable information, but we do collect some anonymous information when you access our website. We also collect information volunteered by our patrons, such as survey information and/or website registrations.

Information Provided by You. When you visit our website, you may be invited to register in order to access some of our services. When you register, you will be asked to provide some personal information, including your name and email address. You may also purchase subscriptions or single tickets, and/or make donations on the CTC website, where you will be asked for your billing and mailing address, phone number, and credit card information so that we can process your transaction.

How We Use Your Information. Patrons or visitors to our website who have supplied us with their contact data may receive periodic mailings from CTC with information such as new productions, discount offers, or upcoming events. You may opt out of receiving such mailings – see “Opt Out” section below.

Information Shared With Third Parties. We may use your contact data to send you information about new offerings and special theatre-related values at CTC. You may always opt out of receiving future mailings – see “Opt Out” section below. In addition, we may employ outside agents, meaning other companies or individuals, to perform functions on our behalf, such as sending postal mail and email, conducting promotional activities, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. These CTC agents have access to your personal information that is needed to perform their functions, but they may not use it for other purposes. Other than our outside agents, we keep all of your personal information private and will not share it with any third party, unless you have authorized us to or we are legally required to do so.

Security Of Your Information.  When you purchase tickets, make a donation to CTC, or conduct any online transaction via our website, we need to obtain your billing and mailing address, phone number, and credit card information. This information is encrypted and transmitted over the Internet and stored securely by CTC or its third party agents. We strive to ensure that security measures are in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. CTC or its third party agents use industry standard encryption to help ensure that all the personal information you provide is encrypted and remains private. This helps to maintain the confidentiality of your information. We strive to protect your personal information, however, CTC cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.

Links to Third Party Websites.  To provide you with access to related websites, our website may contain links to third party websites. CTC is not responsible for the practices or the content of any of these linked websites.

Correcting or Updating Personal Information.  If your personal information changes, we will gladly correct, update, or remove any data you have previously provided to us. You may change your personal information at any time by sending us an email at info@chestertheatre.org.

Opt Out. You may choose to opt out of receiving CTC mailings by sending us a “Please Remove” email message to info@chestertheatre.org.

Disclaimers. CTC takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect your personal information both online and off-line, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. In the event that there exists a conflict between posted materials, policies, or any other terms on the website and any executed agreements, such as subscription policies, donor agreements, or any other arrangements, the executed agreement and its terms will prevail and will be given full force and effect with modification.

CTC, its suppliers, or any other third parties mentioned on this website shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damagers, including, but not limited to, costs associated with servicing, repairing, and/or replacing equipment, lost data, lost profits, or business interruptions, resulting from the use or inability to use this website and its materials, whether or not CTC is advised of the possibility of such damages.

IP Address. We automatically track IP (internet protocol) addresses for statistic purposes. IP addresses are logged per user’s session and help to determine how often areas on our site are visited. CTC does not track IP addresses with any of your personal information, so we will never link an IP address to a specific user. We also monitor traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop and improve the design and layout of the site.

Cookies. We use cookies to improve your experience at our website. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s computer. We use cookies for remarketing and to remember information users give us so they don’t have to reenter it each time they visit our site. You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits. Even without a cookie, you will still be able to use most of the features on our website.
