Dear Friend of Chester Theatre Company,

The end of the year is a time of reflection, and 2016 has given us much to contemplate. As we approach the New Year, I invite you to join me in looking forward to warmer days, and to sharing the stories, the laughter, the conversations that lie ahead.

Here in Chester, we are in the process of choosing the plays that our artists, our staff, our student interns will bring to life in the Town Hall Theatre. It is an exciting project, and perhaps our most important: choosing plays that entertain us, while inviting us to know, and to value, lives outside our own. This sharing of stories is an act as old as humanity itself.

We cherish these chances to be in a room with others, where each performance is unique, where the give and take between audience and actor becomes part of the experience. We come together to find connection, and to delight in one another’s company.

I, and all of us at Chester Theatre Company, thank you for commitment to the work we do here. Please know that we treasure you as much as you treasure this theatre.

May the New Year bring you hope, and joy.

Warmly,

Daniel Elihu Kramer
Producing Artistic Director

P.S. We are closing out our fiscal year with a Matching Grant challenge from a generous anonymous donor. Gifts from new donors and donors who move up a giving level will be matched. We hope you will consider supporting us as we look toward our 28th season.
