When Stanislavski’s famous tome, An Actor Prepares, was published in 1936, it would have been unimaginable that an audience could have a window into the creative process via this thing called The Internet. Yet, here we are in 2018, offering you an exclusive peek into the rehearsal room.

In The Aliens, Annie Baker’s play set to open August 9 in The Town Hall Theatre, Jasper, played by James Barry, kicks over a chair. Simple, right? Well, maybe not as simple as you might think. Here is a 20 second capture of the rehearsal room, where James gets a hand (a foot?) from Joel Ripka. We’ve gotten a real kick out of it, and we hope you will, too!
